A fix is now available for download that resolves the audio distortion issue with the MXO when using an ATI Radeon HD video card.
To install the fix:
1. Quit Final Cut Pro and any other open programs.
2. Download the 2.1.5 drivers located here.
3. Uninstall your current MXO drivers by going to your Applications folder>Matrox MXO and run the uninstaller.
4. Restart your computer.
5. Double click the downloaded file to install the new drivers
6. Restart your computer again.
The patch is now be applied and you should have clear audio on the RCA outputs of the MXO.
We thank you all for your patience in this matter and apologize for any inconveniences this has caused you.
Regards,

Hi everyone,
Please note this patch has been replaced by the Matrox MXO 2.1.5 drivers which you can download in the above post.
If you previously downloaded the patch from this forum thread and experienced audio distortion after applying it, re-download the official 2.1.5 drivers and follow the steps of the previous post. These 2.1.5 drivers should fix the audio distortion issue for all currently existing ATI Radeon HD video cards and not only the ATI Radeon HD4870.
Regards,
Matrox Technical Support. |
