Video Drivers PNY Quadro 5000?

Hi, I'm running : Win 7-64 SP1, CS6 6.0.5, Mix Utils 7.5.2 - MXO2 driver 4.1.0.0019.

Can someone please tell me what the "correct" driver is for a PNY Quadro 5000 video card? I down loaded a driver and it had GTX game stuff on it. I don't think I need that.


Also, I have just one other minor glitch. When I press play Video and audio plays for about a sec. Then the sound mutes for about a sec. Then comes back on and everything is ok after that. Any ideas????

Hi Pat,

You can confirm driver information with NVIDIA or Adobe. Currently after searching i am noticing version 333.11 on NVIDIA's download website: http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/75456/en-us

As for the playback issue, can you install latest Mtx.utils 7.6.0.1993 found on our downloads page: http://www.matrox.com/video/en/support/downloads/
Please let us know if you encounter the same issue.

Are you running both MAC and Windows drivers for the MXO2?

Hi Sam,
okay on reboot, the audio mute problem went away.

But from what I understand, you want me to goto Mtx Utils 760.... (the latest)
Even though I don't use CC. That's what I'll do.

Also with a little poking around on the NVIDIA web site, I've found that for my Win7SP1 x64 Bit sys with Quadro 5000 video card, running, Prem Pro/cs6 they recommend their version 311.35

I'll try it out.

Hi Pat,

The latest Mtx.utils 7.6 drivers supports Adobe CC 2014, Adobe CC, and Adobe CS6 which includes Premiere 6.0.5.

Everything is working great!

I noticed the Mix Patterns doesn't have the same rev # as mtx utils. Is that correct. It's the last one.
