In Avid Media Composer, map each audio track in your project to an output channel. To do so, open the Audio Tool window (Tools > Audio Tool), click PH, and then click Output Settings. Click the Mix Mode Selection Menu button to select Direct Out, and then select an output channel for each audio track. For more information on specifying your audio output settings in Avid Media Composer, see your Avid documentation.
Important: To avoid audio noise issues during playback, all eight audio channels that are available in MXO2 Mini must be mapped to an audio track in Media Composer. This means that if you have less than eight audio tracks in your project, you must add empty audio tracks to make up the difference and map the empty tracks as well. For example, if you have two mono audio tracks on your timeline that are mapped in Media Composer to audio outputs one and two respectively, you must add six empty mono tracks to your timeline, and map them in Media Composer to audio outputs three to eight.
