RT.X2 HD card work on the Asus P9X79 WS

Could you please tell me if my RT.X2 HD card will work on the Asus P9X79 WS motherboard.

I need to know if the card will work in a PCIe 3.0/2.0 x16 (x4 mode) slot.

I wish to upgrade to this Workstation motherboard to take advantage of the 64Gb memory capabilities and more powerful processors.
