Matrox tools 3.6

At the moment I'm using RTX.2 with Prem SC3.

I tried loading in some XDCAM footage in a 1920 project but playback is stuttering and I get no realtime playback on my external tv(monitor).

I'm on Matrox tools 3.5. If I install version 3.6, will I be able to get smoother playback and realtime output.

Just done a search and found some info. (should have done this before posting !!)

I believe I CAN us EX footage but in a Matrox 1440 project?

Just one other thing.

At the moment I'm using Matrox tools 3.5. I've got the download for 3.6 but if I put it on, will it affect my existing Prem projects?

I've got a big job on at the moment so don't want to mess it up.

Hi Peter,

Premiere should be at version 3.2 when using the Matrox 3.6 driver. I used that combination for a couple of years and it is very stable!

No problem with Projects changing from 3.5 to 3.6, always upwardly compatible (can't go backwards though).

Yes you CAN use XDCAM EX 1920x1080 clips with RT.X2, but it will be a 1440x1080 project.
