I use for audio production in the video Steinberg Nuendo 4.3.
I have a simple question!
This software supports video files and identify Blackmagic Intensity Pro cards, sending the video stream directly into the card output (in the monitor).
when RTX2 i enabled ( in the Nuendo preference) DirectShow video, and set the Matrox wysiwyg panel,
my video outputs to the external monitor, but when I stop and play (in Nuendo), starting in the video monitor after 30 or 40 seconds.
Nuendo has a internal video player that retards like matrox with directshow.
If I choose in the preferences dirctx player inside of Nuendo the video works fine but nothing comes out from Matrox.
I tested all video formats, the best so far is wmv format.
He knows a possible solution to this?

I use winXP ,mx.tools 3.6, ffdshow codec.

The Matrox RT.X2 has not been certified or tested with Steinberg Nuendo software.
I will move your post to our General Discussion section so other users can share their feedback regarding similar workflows.

I solved my problem.
I converted the video in Matrox AVI format PAL 720x576 progressiv no fields.
I selected directshow videoplayer in Steinberg Nuendo .
I have setting the panel wysiwyg ......... and go.
my video appeared external monitor.

The other video format ( mpeg, h264 , ecc..... )
is too strong for NUENDO or CUBASE !
the problem is the over compression.

for example : i have imported video 1H10min in mpeg2 480x320 for 300MB...........not good the play is very slow and out of sync.
I have imported video 1H10min in matrox AVI pal (720x576) for 13 GB
is very good....
