| If I were to upgrade from the RTx2 to the MX0 product, are all of my files and projects compatible? |

Are you referring to MXO2 product line on the PC? If so, yes you should have no problem porting your RT.X2 project and files to MXO2 product. _________________ Regards,

Yes on a PC (I didn't know you made an RTx2 for Mac).
So it's the exact same codec and all my archive projects will open and play within Premiere with an MX02? |

No, RT.X2 was only a PC product, but MXO2 can be used on either MAC or PC platforms.
Yes, the codecs are the same. Please note that Matrox GPU effects are no longer supported in Adobe CS5. These will appear offline in Matrox sequences in Adobe CS5.
Please let us know if you need more information. _________________ Regards,

With MXO2 on the PC, you get the following Matrox effects:
Matrox Color Correction (Primary and Secondary)
Matrox Luma Key
Matrox Chroma Key
Matrox Wipes
These are IDENTICAL to the RT.X2 versions, so if they are used in the
RT.X2 project, that project will open and work just fine with MXO2.
Any other Matrox effects, like Ripple, Shine, 3D DVE, will go missing when
opened in MXO2 project. Your video will be there, but any GPU effects will not be applied anymore.
I recently had a very complex, multi-camera HDV project that was roughed out in RT.X2 using Matrox Color Correction on ALL clips. This was done with CS3 and I was able to open on MXO2 with CS5 and everything was perfect and I was able to finish on MXO2 and create a Blu-ray disc.

Jeff,
is the MXO2 similar to the rtx2? Can I edit in PPro CS5.5 with the MXO2? Is there something MXO2 does not have that the RTX2 card has. This may sound stupid but thinking about the MXO2 as I would like to upgrade to CS5.5 Prod Premium and I'm not sure if the RTX2 will get the drivers to work with CS5.5
cheers and please enlighten me.
