I am using CS3 with RTX2LE but need to change CS4.

Graphic Card 1950pro
With 2GB 800Mhz Transcend RAM
Is that possible ? and what about performance ? |

| maybe Im asking the most obvious question: Why do you have to change to CS4? If its the support or one of the new features I understand, but if it's just to have the latest version, I would advise not to do it. |

I would say that would like to move across to migrate to CS4, but so far, have resisted the temptation - despite some nice new features.
Once I see CS4 and the RT.X2 are stable and play well together, then that's the time I'll make the move to Vista 64 (or will it be Windows 7 by then...?) and CS4.

I too have the desire to switch to CS4 but the posts on these forums give me the impression that the Matrox RTX.2 drivers are not at all stable.
Is this true or not??
Anyone have comments??
I bought CS4 about 1 year ago and the $500 investment still sits on my shelf in an unopened box as I have no desire to trade the known issues with CS3 and RTX.2 (audio lockup for one) with a whole new set of unknown issues. I simply don't have the time or the desire to debug Matrox software.
Whats the story Matrox? - One year after the release of CS4 are the drivers stable enough for everyday heavy useage yet?? |
