I have a panasonic 201 and I need to regiser in format hdv 1440x1080 50i. BUT MATROX RTX2 DON'T SUPPORT THIS FORMAT OF PANASONIC.

Why please resolve this problem. Canon can work, sony can work and PANASONIC why not.

Please tell me How to risolve.

Please, when Matrox deliver new driver for panasonic ful hd like xdcam ex of sony ex1?
There is no sense that camera sony ex1 full hd is compatible in matrox rtx2 and panasonic is coompatible only for 720p.
I have spent my money for a good card to edit but it is inconcepible that panasonic is out.
Matrox have to give to panasonic the same opportunity that have give to sony xdcam ex.
Thank you very much.

Hi lorenzog,

have you tried opening a 1440X1080 25 Matrox project? Can you list the camera model? are you sure the camera is set to the right resolution as several different resolutions are supported on different camera's.

Regards

Peter

The camera is panasonic 201 and register in p2 only 1920x1080 and 720x1280p. OK?
BUT FULL HD IS NOT SUPPORTED.
IN SONY FULL HD IS SUPPORTED
WHY IN PANASONIC FULL HD IS NOT SUPPORTED?
UNLESS SONY EX1 IS ALL SUPPORTED IN RTX2.
MATROX HAVE TO GIVE THE SAME OPPRTUNY ALSO TO PANASONIC
OR NOT????

Hi lorenzog,

I am moving this thread to the "Product Feature Enhancements" section of our forum so that this can be incorperated into a future release. Our Axio brand of products do support full HD resolution editing. For more information, please see the following link:

Peter
