I am attempting to get my RTX100 to work with a fresh installation of Windows 7 (32-bit).
Right now I am trying to use Windows virtual PC and XP mode in order to use this card and use 7.
Everything looked as if it was going to work: installed Premiere 2.0 on the Virtual Machine, where I get stopped is in the Driver Software installer. I get the error that it doesn't see that the hardware is in the computer.
When I go to Device Manager in XP mode I see the little question mark that I know is the card.
It feels like I am really close to getting this to work. I just need a way that the driver installation software will see the card in the PCI slot. I know the computer sees it because I see it in the Device Manager.
I would really like to get this to work because it has taken alot of time to even be able to get 7 on this old computer and I'm not going back...
The next thing I would try is instead of using XP Mode in 7 I would try to install XP as a second OS on a partition. Has anyone tried this?
XP is way outdated especially with CS5 out and I don't have 2k to drop on a RTX2.
I am thankful for ANY information or thoughts on this subject

I did previously have only XP on the Machine and the RTX100 worked flawlessly. _________________ Brand=

If this is an impossible option can anyone give me insight into dual booting a PC and the RTX100? Instead of using a virtual PC I would simply install XP on a separate partition. _________________ Brand=
