As the title says this is a little bit slow.

And by the time tends to be slower.

Sometimes it needs restart of Symphony.

Is this going to be fixed in the near future?

I think this is a known issue Sam.

MXO2 Mini is slow when you are on Multicam (which MC6 is by itself slower compared to 5.5) and on CC.

It is always like that.

Hi George,

Sam is away. This is Joe.

Please provide all your full software versions and a link to the discussion of this issue.

I have researched our internal documents and do see one issue that caused Avid to display an error msg. Do you just see sluggishness or do you get an error msg?

The issue I found was already solved (vpg-79). Please provide more details so I can better research this for you.

Can you confirm your exact MXO2 driver version installed?
Also do you see the same behavior with Avid Media Composer 6.0.1?

The latest Matrox MXO2 drivers should include improvements to sluggishness within Avid Media Composer 6.0.1. The improvements may not be as responsive as native Avid since we use additional resources for external output.

6.1.0.100

I don't have MC 6 anymore.

But it was like that.

The improvements we made were only for Avid Media Composer 6.0.1. Avid Symphony has not been tested or certified with MXO2 release.

Avid qualifies this for Symphony but not Matrox.

How is this possible.

Hi George,

We have sent the MC issue within Avid Media Composer to our QA and engineering department for further investigation.

We will provide further updates once they become available.
