Hi Rob,

Yes, you will be able to use your existing MXO2 Mini on the PC as well, however, you will need the appropriate PC drivers which you can find on our downloads page. The latest MXO2 software which supports Adobe CS6 is 7.0.1: http://www.matrox.com/video/en/support/downloads/

If you are switching from Adobe CS5 to CS6 on your PC, try running the Adobe cleaner tool to remove any remaining or corrupted files from previous Adobe versions. Here is the Adobe tool: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/829/cpsid_82947.html

You could try the following for a clean install of Adobe and Matrox drivers on your PC:
- uninstall any current MXO2 drivers on your system if any
- run the Adobe cleaner tool on your system, which should remove all Adobe versions, CS4, CS5 etc..
- reboot the system and run the cleaner tool again, making sure all Adobe entries are removed
- install Adobe CS6 suite and perform updates (Adobe Product updates can be found here: http://www.adobe.com/downloads/updates/) Premiere and Media Encoder should be 6.0.1
- after updates are performed, download Mtx.utils 7.0.1 drivers, unblock them if needed and disable UAC
- install MXO2 drivers and power cycle the MXO2 Mini: shutdown the PC, disconnect A/C power on the Mini, wait several seconds, reconnect the power on Mini, restart the MXO2 Mini

When installing the MXO2 drivers, please follow the steps below:
- uninstall the current MXO2 drivers
- download and right-click the Mtx.utils exe file and select Properties. Under the General tab, click unblock (at the bottom) if it is seen.
- Make sure the UAC option is turned off (set to Never Notify in Windows 7 settings) before running the MXO2 setup * may need to reboot
To disable UAC option or set it to Never Notify in Windows 7, please follow this link: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/975787
- Run Mtx.utils setup and then make sure a full reboot and power cycle is performed (after install is complete, shutdown PC, disconnect MXO2 Mini power for several seconds, reconnect power of MXO2 and then power up the PC)
- re-enable UAC option if needed

We hope this information is clear and helpful.

You will need to uninstall CS5 and any Matrox drivers before then installing CS6 followed by the MXO2 driver.

Yes, as mentioned by Andrew you should remove previous Adobe versions from your system when installing Adobe CS6 software to avoid any conflicts between Adobe versions when using the MXO2.
