|
|
Hello,
after working flawlessly for quite a while, all of a sudden the analog video out is only working when using a SD preset. It seems as if the HD signal can't be downscaled any more. Could that be a hardware defect?
Thanks for your help

Hi,
Can you specify your FCP project settings and clips (format/frame rate)?
What are the Video Output settings selected in MXO2 System Preferences?
What is the analog output connected from MXO2 to external monitor?
Do you have the FCP External View > All Frames selected?
Have you tried rebooting the system or reinstalling the MXO2 drivers?
Can you confirm your OSX version?
Please detail your workflow steps so we can better troubleshoot your issue. _________________ Regards,

Hi Martin,
What is your Set Main Channel Format to setting? ie. Follow Application?
Under Channel Selection for Analog Output, can you change to SD channel? Does this work?
Can you try going straight from Composite (Y connector) out of the MXO2 Mini to your Composite input of your monitor?
Are you referring to the Matrox adaptor for S-Video connection as shown on page 49 of the User Guide?: http://www.matrox.com/video/media/pdf/support/mxo2/doc/en_Matrox_MXO2_Installation_and_User_Guide_2_5.pdf
Please let us know your results. _________________ Regards,

Hi Sam,
it was the switch under "channel selection" for Analog Output to SD Channel instead of Main Channel. Has this been changed with the 2.5.drivers? I'm sure I never touched any of those tabs (only monitor calibration) and both HDMI and analog monitors worked straight away.
Anyway - glad that it works again and thanks for your support!
cheers
