Sorry but this is a useless posting. Especially in large broadcast environments with ~300 edit clients, changing your NLE isn't that easy. That's why FCP7 is still very common and will be for quite some time. You will be surprised how many large broadcasters still use it. Even though everybody knows FCP7 is end of life.
Changing to a new NLE in critical environments needs plenty of time and a time slot where old and new NLE must be able to run on a Mac simultaneous. Therefor a unified driver is necessary. Some manufactures are able to realize this, others aren't.
However, some sort of statement in this matter would be a help. The Mojito Max is a great card and it would be a much better card with a unified driver. |
