I'm running MX02 Mini MAX primarily for Media Composer (MC) 6.0.1.1 I've been running it for the last month.

The problem I am having is with encoding a file from MC. Within the application, there is no Matrox compression available... I did some searching within your forums... there's suppose to be a "Matrox MAX H.264." Was I suppose to install something extra other than typical drivers I installed to allow for the Matrox breakout box to work in the first place?

Any direction on how to solve this issue would be appreciated.

Thx,
-R

Hi R,

Can you confirm your MXO2 software version?
Please note you will need to run Adobe Media Encoder to encode using the Matrox MAX H.264 codec.
See page 212 of the User Guide for more information on how to do this:
http://www.matrox.com/video/media/pdf/support/windows/mxo2/doc/en_Matrox_MXO2_Installation_and_User_Guide_6_1.pdf

Hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if you need additional information.
