Hi,
I would really wish Matrox will add the following features into their H.264 Catpure software especially for their MXO2 LE Max card ...
1) Remote VTR RS422 control.
2) Read in VITC from VTR for all H.264 captures.
3) Able to support more than 4 audio channels in SD H.264 captures.
4) Able to natively integrates H.264 captures within Adobe Premiere.
5) Ability to do batch H.264 captures from VTR.
I am sure the above-mentioned requests are reasonable in order for Matrox products to stay competitive in the market place as competitor like BlackMagic has offered very compelling product like their H.264 Pro Recorder which have most of the features mentioned above. Frankly, BlackMagic's free Media Express software is actually "light-years" ahead of Matrox H.264 capture software in terms of usability and features!
I sincerely hope these features will come soon in order to retain the loyalty of its customers! Frankly, my company is planning to buy in the MXO2 LE Max card in volume but is held back by the above-mentioned features!!!
Many Thanks! |

| I agree all of the above - and add interlaced processing as well, and Adobe media encoder export of interlace files. We get a lot of demand for H264 files to be electronically trasmitted mainy because of the small file size, but that's mainly for re-editing and re puposing - not for web use at this stage. |

So you would have a need to supply content in interlaced h264 files?
