Hi - been using an MXO with a MacPro for five years - no issues.
Yesterday, my second (MXO-connected) screen went black, and blue light in MXO went out.
Checking in the Mac's System Profiler - nothing seen under USB devices. No second display seen either. Tried different USB sockets on MacPro - still nothing seen.
Tested MXO power supply: giving +5VDC OK.
MXO Control Panel on System Preferences says ""Not connected" against all items. Presentation tab show all items greyed out, as do all the tabs.
Is it dead? Any others things to try? No internal fuses, I fear? |

It's possible that the MXO or power supply have failed. I can setup an rma for you. I've created tech support case 106450 and will contact you by email. _________________ Regards,

To resurrect this thread:
I received my refurbished MXO, and have been trying to install it/set it up. No joy. No blue LED even. NOthing out of the DVI or sound outputs. The MXP Control Panel just says "Not Connected".
PSU still giving out +5VDC, but maybe failing under load?
Maybe the white cable loom is defective? These items weren't replaced with a refurb, only the main MXO box.
I can give you the RMA number that refers to this ticket - but maybe by private email? I am now wondering too, if the MXO unit I returned to you was tested by you and found OK!
Please can Matrox Tech Support (who have been very helpful about this) advise what to try next?
