Although limited to those of us who work in 25p [ALL European RED camera owners?], this needs fixing. This issue has stopped me being able to update my Avid software or Matrox drivers and software for more than 6 months now.
I'm wondering if there's been any development on this, with new Matrox firmware and new versions of Avid?
I guess it is a Mac OS problem for Matrox to deal with, as there are suitable controls to deal with it on PC. It works fine with older versions! |

Hi Nigel,

With Avid 6 and Matrox driver 3.0, you can choose to output either 1080p 25 or 1080psf. True 1080p is available for both HDMI and SDI and 1080psf is available through HDMI, SDI, & Component. Please see the video output settings in the user guide to determine if upgrading to Lion with Avid 6 is an option for you.
