| Is there a firmware update to upgrade my MXO2 Mini with MAX or does it require a CompressHD card? |

Hi P.
The "MXO2 Mini MAX" and basic "MXO2 Mini" are physically different units. The former includes CompressHD (aka Matrox MAX) hardware whereas the latter does not. A basic Matrox MXO2 Mini is not upgradable to the MAX hardware version, but if you have a Mac Pro desktop computer then you can add the same functionally to your system by buying and installing a Matrox CompressHD card into the tower.
Hope that helps

Thank you Andy! I appreciate the feedback.
The good news is that there is a CompressHD card for the PC also. |
