Hi,
I am in the processes of setting up an edit suite for home, and am looking at the MXO2 with the max tech built in. I am wondering if this fits in with the system I have just purchased, and with the peripheral's I am considering.
Computer:
Refurb 2009 MacPro; 2x 2.26 GHz Processors; 6GB Ram; Nvidia GeForce GT 120;
I am going to upgrade the graphics card to whichever card is recommended when the MacPros update in the near future. Will this current card work for me now though?
I also wonder if you can tell me if this TV set will be suitable for connecting to the MXO2?
http://www.lg.com/au/tv-audio-video/televisions/LG-lcd-tv-22LU50FD.jsp
It is 1920X1080 resolution and can be connected by HDMI, component in and RGB in. I am just a little confused by the 1:1 pixel mapping that the MXO2's specs seems to require.
Also, having read the Ken Stone review of this product, it states there that the MXO2 ships without a power lead. Is this still the case?
Many thanks for your help. |

Hey BR
>Will this current card work for me now though?
The graphics card has no bearing on the operation of your the MXO2, so the card you use us entirely your choice.
>I also wonder if you can tell me if this TV set will be suitable for connecting to the MXO2?
Couldn't see a manual download on the support page so hard to know the details of its operating modes.
>the MXO2 ships without a power lead. Is this still the case?
Good question ... I have no idea. I have a box full of old power cables accumulated over the ages so must admit the power cable deficiency passed me by!
Hope something above is helpful
