Matrox MXO (2.1.7) beta for Snow Leopard 10.6.2 and higher

Matrox is pleased to provide an open public beta of the upcoming release of Matrox MXO software for Snow Leopard 10.6.2 and higher.

Please use this special section of the MXO forum to report your findings (positive or negative).

Main issue addressed:
This addresses the audio playback issue with ATI display cards with Snow Leopard 10.6.2 operating system.

Important: This software is provided as is. We recommend that you back up your system before installing new software and we do not recommend that you update your MXO software if you're in the middle of a project. Please report all of your findings (positive or negative) to the special section on the MXO web forum. Your feedback is important in helping us ensure that our software releases do not create any unforeseen problems.

Installation instructions
If you plan on using MXO in Mastering mode for video editing, you should install Apple Final Cut Pro before installing the MXO software.

Download the following file to your hard drive:
Matrox MXO Software Package 2.1.7.0004.pkg.zip (5.1 MB)

1. Run the installation program.
2. Follow the onscreen instructions to install the Matrox MXO 2.1.7 beta software on your computer.
3. The installer will restart your computer at the end of the installation when you click Restart.

Note You don't need to have a previous version of Matrox MXO installed on your computer in order to install MXO version 2.1.7 beta. If you want to go back to an earlier version of MXO, you should first uninstall MXO version 2.1.7 beta.
