| I saw that the FME driver for Windows was released, but I am wondering though if the driver would also be compatible for Wirecast on PC? |

Hello and thank you for your interest in Matrox products. On the Mac side we support streaming through Adobe Flash Media Live Encoder, Telestream Wirecast, or QuickTime Broadcaster. on The PC side however we only provide streaming support through Adobe Flash Media Live Encoder via Microsoft DirectShow for Windows. http://www.matrox.com/video/en/products/pc/mxo2_family/streaming/
regards,
JD

I use an MXO2 LE in Wirecast on a PC.
But what I have to do is load up FMLE, configure the MXO2LE settings through FMLE, close it, then open Wirecast. Wirecast seems to use whatever settings I set in FMLE in Wirecast. |

Hi Dave and thank you for your continued interest in Matrox products. Thank you also for your work around advice. While I will not discourage others to try this, it is not a supported Matrox workflow. This is one of the great benefits of having forums to be able to share knowledge.
regards,
JD

Hello XTM and thank you for your interest in Matrox products. We do not write the software for Microsoft direct show. If you have questions about Direct Show I would suggest you ask Microsoft. I do not see any other questions for us. Please advise.

JD

The image come us and plays for only 8 seconds, once this happens then it freezes.
There is not audio via RCA or XLR

Hello authorleon and thank you for your interest in Matrox products. On the PC side we presently only support Adobe Flash Media Live Encoder for live streaming. Users have stated that they have used Wirecast before for streaming but again it is not supported by Matrox. You can however make a request in our Product Feature Enhancements forums http://forum.matrox.com/mxo/viewforum.php?f=6
