Hello,
We are using new automation and have discontinued use of old play out servers which utilized the Matrox X.mio2 y7291-02 rev B card. HD-SDI was fed into a Matrox Breakout Box, then from the BB to the card.
What I am curious about is if we can re purpose these. There is another bay next to the card that has two SDI inputs (SDI IN C and SDI IN D) which feed directly into the X.mio2. Is there a way to use this setup to record in third party recording software? I can add pictures of the card as well if need be. Any help to offer or questions because I'm missing information (I'm sure I am) please don't hesitate.
