|
|
Hello,
I am looking to capture an HD-SDI signal (1080i60) with 8 embedded channels of audio directly to a multi-channel MP4. I believe this is possible with the included software, but just want to make sure it will capture more than 2 channels.
My plan is to then run the captured MP4 file through Telestream Episode to create multiple MP4 files with different audio tracks in each output.
Do you see any issues with this? Thanks.

Hi Glenn,
Thank you for the interest in our products.
Are you on PC or MAC? What is the OS version you intend to work with?
SDI input signals can be captured with 8 embedded channels on PC and 16 channels on MAC: http://www.matrox.com/video/en/products/mojito_max/specs/
Regarding your 2nd question on Telestream Episode, it will work as long as Episode supports this feature. The MojitoMAX will capture the video with embedded audio channels. So as long as Episode supports this type of file, then I don't see any reason for it not to work.

Let me know if you have any other questions. _________________ Regards,

Hi Joe,
I will be using a PC and will only need 6 channels of audio.
I am also aware that Windows 10 will not be supported, I'm going to try my luck with the 8.1 drivers.
Thank You.

You're welcome Glenn.
So far we've not had any negative feedback from users running the latest driver on Windows 10. _________________ Regards,
