|
|
Hi, I hope, someone can help:
The problem: The sound input signal via Matrox hardware (XLR) is OK, but during (voice-over)-audio-recording there are short cracks in the audiofile - sometimes less, sometimes more. Sometimes in a long file there are no cracks, sometimes they appear steady like a tick of a fast clock. I recorded the audiofies to different harddiscs (qualified for HDTV-video) on computer and external. There seems to be no coherence.
At my last VO-sessions the cracks occured more often, so I had to make an paralell sound- backup to a hardware-recorder (not a very professional working...).
The soundprocessor and the Mic & cables are tested, they are innocent... No virus-tools or parallel audio-tools are installed, even the Windows defender is deactivated.
Of course I deinstalled Mtx.utils totally (manually removing of the mvk*-files, CC registry cleaner) and reinstalled the software as well as I de/reinstalled Adobe CS/CC, additional with the Adobe CC Cleaning software (at first installing Adobe then mtx.utils).
For me it seems to be a problem of hardware, the Matrox MXO2 Rack or the computer. Do someone knows this problem? What can I do to encircle and fix the problem? I have rendered a mp3- soundfile to demonstrate the "caracter" of cracks - perhaps someone want to hear: ask me...
System:
- Windows 7 Professional, Service Pack 1
- HP Z400 Workstation, Intel Xenon CPU W352 @2.67 GHz, 16 GB memory, 64 Bit OS, GeForce GTX 650 Ti
- Matrox MXO2 Rack, MAX (2011-08-30), Mtx.utils 8.0.0.15342
- Adobe Premiere CS6 (6.0.5) as well as Premiere CC 2015 try-out-version. Preferences-Audio hardware: Matrox ASIO Driver..., XLR
Thank you in advance... |

Does the issue occur if you reboot the system?
Can you try previous Mtx.utils 7.7.2.2018 drivers with Adobe CS6 and see if this works? _________________ Regards,

Thanks for your quick answer!
Does the issue occur if you reboot the system? > what do you mean? I start the computer, start premiere and have the problem. Even I restart both the promlem is still there...
Can you try previous Mtx.utils 7.7.2.2018 drivers with Adobe CS6 and see if this works?> I had the problem with a previous version (don?t know which version) and full of hope I installed the new one - successless. But OK, I will try it and I'll report you the result... |

Thank you Sam,
I deinstalled Mtx.util 8.0.0.15342 and installed Mtx.util 7.7.2.2018 - and it seems to be successful...
As I wrote I had an earlier version of utils with the same problem and therefore I installed 8.0.0...
So I hope there is no reason to contact you the next days (months, years...?) |
