When installing the new SSD drive, did you perform a fresh install of Adobe CS6 applications or the Windows 7 OS?

You can try clearing Adobe preferences for each app however, it seems to be a problem with corrupted files after cloning your drive.

If you still encounter problems after above suggestions, please try:
- uninstalling current Matrox software
- uninstall previous and current Adobe versions, ie some users have used Adobe cleaner tool to thoroughly remove the entire software, even after a reboot of the system: https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/cc-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html
- install Adobe CS6 + updates (ie Premiere 6.0.5)
- install Matrox latest software

Thank you.

I cloned my original SSD drive to a backup SSD and then put the original SSD drive back in. I never actually put the clone in the computer or even tested it. I got lazy and hoped there wouldn't be any problems.

Thus I didn't uninstall or re install any of the CS6 software or anything else. When I put the original SSD back in all the software worked just as before like I never took it out.

I can try clearing the adobe preferences but since there is also a problem in 3ds max WYSIWYG it seems to be something else.

I think I will attempt uninstalling the matrox 8.0 stuff and re-installing it or the next older version.

I am on WIN 7 64bit SP1, that isn't an issue is it?

The 8.0 drivers should work on Windows 7 64-bit SP1. If possible, a clean up of Matrox and Adobe apps would be a worth a try.

I uninstalled the matrox software and matrox wipes, rebooted and ran after effects. Seems to work fine with no matrox installed.

What should I try next?

You can try clearing Adobe AE preferences for each app.

As a test, you can try downloading and installing 7.7.2 drivers.

If you still encounter problems after above suggestions, please try:
- uninstall Matrox software
- uninstall previous and current Adobe versions, ie some users have used Adobe cleaner tool to thoroughly remove the entire software, even after a reboot of the system: https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/cc-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html
- install Adobe CS6 + updates (ie Premiere 6.0.5)
- install Matrox latest software

dumb question, where do I download 7.7.2? I only see 8.0.0.15 on the download page?

Yes, the apps should suffice, depending on which app is giving you problems.

For 7.7.2, there should be an option at the bottom of the download 8.0 release for previous releases.

Thank you Sam.

The 7.7.2 download isn't an option if you select software apps on the page before. But if you do not then it is. Thats why I didn't see it Smile

I cleared the preferences and re-installed Matrox software, powered down and then installed the Matrox wipes.

All programs seem to be working now with WYSIWYG!
I also did one Matrox MP4 export from Premiere and it worked.

I'm going to start my next project now and put it to more extensive real world testing the rest of the day to try to make sure.

Thank you again, Sam
