I have a late 2008 model MacBook Pro connected to an external Apple Cinema Display via Mini DisplayPort. I'm wondering if I can use my MXO2 Mini to connect a second external monitor so I have two displays with the MacBook in clamshell mode.
Running OS X 10.7.5 and whichever version of the drivers works with that and Avid MC 5.5.
Thanks |

Hi GregD4,
The MXO2 Mini can provide an external output, however the MXO2 mini needs to be connected to the MacBookPro using the PCIe external adaptor or thunderbolt adaptor via host cable from laptop to MXO2 box.
You will need a supported Matrox driver and software such as Avid opened to provide the external output.
Please let us know if you need further assistance. _________________ Regards,
