Hi,
I'm not sure if this can work:
I'd like to record the video signal form a device wich only has a DVI-D connector. I connect the the device to my Matrox MXO2LE with an adapter DVI-to-HDMI. I use Premiere Pro to capture the video to my Mac. But this don't work.
So maybe the problem is, that there is no regular video signal like 720p or 1080i from the DVI-device.
What do you think?
Thanks for your help,
Bernd |

Hi Bernd,
You're correct that the DVI-D device is likely NOT putting out a standard HD "video" signal. Rather, it probably has a "computer display" signal timing. Perhaps the device can be adjusted to output something standard, meaning 1080p 29.97 (not 30) or 720p29.97.
Thanks

OK, now it worked with the capture setting 1080i29,97.
So let's hope that it will work with the device that we get at the day of shooting...
thanks.
