Hi

We have Matrox MXO2 Mini.

Working with Avid and Premiere - we can hear audio withot any issue using both the RCA and the HDMI of the MXO2 Mini.

In after effects - no audio what so ever.

After effects settings are all set:

Under Audio Hardware - After Effects WDM is selected, and in the Setup - Matrox Speakers are selected.

Under Audio Output Mapping - After Effects WDM is selected and the speakers are set to Matrox.

I even change the defualt audio device in Windows to Matrox WDM but still can't seem to hear audio from AE.

Again, using the same settings -Primere and Avid play audio from the MXO2 Mini with no issue at all.

We are using the latest matrox driver from the website (7.7.1.2008)

Any idea?

Are you performing a RAM preview? Go to Composition > Preview and make sure Audio is checked. Then go back to Composition > Preview > RAM preview. Once the RAM preview is complete, you will hear audio.

As you mentioned, you will need to set Windows Sound default device to Matrox WDM only.

1 Choose Start > Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Sound, and
click the Playback tab.
2 Right-click Matrox WDM audio device LE, and click Set as Default
Device.

Also, the Audio Hardware settings in AE should be set to Matrox WDM once applied in Windows.
