Hi

I'm using Premier Pro CC2014, Media Encoder and Encore. And would like to create files suitable for importing into Encore that won't require transcoding. i.e. a separate Video and Audio file.

I could be missing something obvious by on the Mac version of the Matrox software (4.2) in the export section of Media Encoder I can only see multiplexed outputs *.mov files?

Am I being daft, I've hunting around the documentation, and can't find a work flow.

I can get this to work fine on my PC but have become more and more attached the reliability of the Mac so hate having to go back to my PC for something which seems to be the main point of owning the MX02 Max device.

Using a 2011 iMac, 16GB Ram, Running Yosemite 10.10.1

Many thanks

Lee

Hi Lee,

The MXO2 does not support creating Matrox Blu-Ray .264 files in Premiere/AME, only Quicktime .mov as you mentioned. You can however export via Apple Compressor to create these .264 Matrox files.

In addition, the current 4.2.0.0006 drivers do not support Yosemite OS X. If you are interested, we can send you a beta driver for use with Yosemite.
Please send us an email to mxosupport@matrox.com to the attention of Sam.

Thank you, that was pretty good customer support - wish Adobe could be that useful!

Many thanks for an honest answer - will save a lot of playing around.

So I'll just stick to creating Blu-Ray's on the PC with the Adobe workflow.

Happily try out the beta driver so will drop a message.

Best Regards
