I just bought my MXO2-mini MAX a couple of months ago and now have been faced with the need to capture a 1080p/60 signal. Does anyone recommend a good low-cost (<$500) scaler that can downscale the frame rate over HDMI to a compatible rate for the MXO2-mini?

Thanks

What source device is sending out the 1080p60 signal?

Thanks

There's some non-HDCP material I wanted from a Roku 3 device for training.

I just checked out the ROKU 3 specs and all it says is "720p and 1080p", how do you know it is a 60p output for certain?

Because my monitor says 1920x1080/60p in the top left corner when I turn it on. I have blind faith on what Samsung tells me.

I did do some additional research on the Roku 3 and the general consensus among users is that it does force everything to 1080p60.

I'm not aware of any devices that ONLY change frame rate, typically we're talking about a resolution change. No idea what to suggest, sorry.

Thanks

I have since found out that MOST of my sources are 1080p60. I guess I should have researched my purchase a little more before I committed.

So what is the least cost Matrox solution that can capture 1080p60 on HDMI?

Hello eddial,

Our Monarch HD is a stand alone device, which connects to your network and can capture via HDMI. Save files as either .mov or .mp4 to either a USB drive, SD card or a mapped network drive.

It also has streaming capabilities as well.

Just rememeber HDCP material will be blocked.
