Please go through this procedure:
Procedure for cleaning up all versions of Adobe Creative Suite and re-installing only Adobe CC on MAC's:
Important: Before running any procedure on your system, it is recommended to backup all important data. This procedure will only affect the main Mac boot drive. Therefore, if your projects and media are located on another hard drive, then they should not be affected.
1. Uninstall current Matrox driver: Applications -> Matrox MXO2 Utilities -> Matrox MAX Software Uninstaller
2. Uninstall all versions of Adobe Creative Suite (CC/CS6/CS5.5/CS5/CS4/CS3). To Uninstall Adobe Creative Cloud / Adobe Creative Suite Products on Mac OS, follow this procedure:
5. Navigate to /Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers
6. Double-click uninstaller for each Adobe CS application
7. Click the option to also clear the application's preferences
8. Restart your computer once all applications have been uninstalled
3. Download the Adobe cleanup tool here: http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html (Mac version)
4. Run the adobe cleaner tool. At the top right, there is a drop-down menu. Select 'ALL'. You will then see a list of Adobe applications installed on your system. One at a time, select all Adobe Creative Suite applications and then click on the 'Cleanup Selected' command button. Note that you do not need to remove any non-Creative Suite applications such as Adobe Flash Media Live Encoder.
5. Manually remove all Adobe Creative Suite-related folders located in: library\application support\adobe and in your MAC Applications folder (Do not remove any folders that belong to Adobe applications that you want to keep, ex: Adobe Flash Media Live Encoder or Adobe Acrobat Reader)
6. Restart MAC
7. If you wish to use Adobe Encore (CS6), then install it first. It will also install Adobe Premiere CS6. Once both applications are installed, run the Adobe CS6 Uninstaller application and remove only Premiere. See this link for more info: http://blogs.adobe.com/davtechtable/2013/06/installing-premiere-cc-encore-cs6.html
8. Re-install Adobe Creative Cloud. Install in the default path. Then update fully through Adobe Bridge. The Adobe Premiere version should be 7.2.1. Verify that Adobe Premiere works properly before moving on to next step.
9. Re-download the appropriate Matrox driver (4.1.0.0019). Verify that the downloaded driver file matches the size specified on the download page. Install driver.
10. Load your MAC Audio preferences and verify that Matrox is NOT selected for either audio Input or Output
11. Launch Premiere, go to Premiere Preferences->Audio Hardware, verify that your Audio Hardware and Audio Output Mapping settings are NOT set to Matrox.
12. In Premiere Preferences -> Player Settings, enable the Video Device by selecting the 'Matrox player' option. For audio to be output through the MXO2, set the 'Audio Device' option to 'Matrox player'.
13. Start a new project, select a sequence that matches your footage video format (frame size and frame rate). Test video/audio playback from both the Source and Program windows. Set both the Source and Program window playback resolution from 'Half' to 'Full'. Verify Matrox user guide for video output options in case you need to manipulate the signal to accommodate your specific model of monitor.
Once the installation of Encore CS6 and Adobe CC is complete, you can verify that the Matrox driver is embedded correctly into Premiere by verifying the following 3 points:
1. Mpeg-2 I-frame sequences are present in your list of sequences
2. Matrox video and audio playback settings are present in Premiere -> Preferences -> Playback menu
3. Matrox Recorder capture setting is present in your list of capture codecs _________________ Regards,
Joe
