It will be any chance that I can work with Matrox MX02, Maverick and Final cut pro 7? or Matrox definitely abandon FCP 7?
Thank you

We do not have official drivers for Mavericks and FCP7. We will update our users once we have further official information.

Please note we have released the MXO2 4.1 software driver which supports Mavericks OS X with FCP X, Adobe CC and Avid 7. See our downloads page: http://www.matrox.com/video/en/support/downloads/

Another vote for FCP 7 support from Matrox with Mavericks. Some of us still need to use this software.

Thanks in advance,
Michael

P.S. Asking a lot I know, but is it possible Matrox can actually email its registered users when the updates are available rather than having to check here and the downloads page each week for any sign of updates?

When registering the MXO2 product, you should have an option to check receiving emails about latest updates.

If you login to your registration profile, you can check this option if not done so already.

Hi just looking for clarification as to the chances of ever having the ability to run FC7 with MX02 LE with max on mavericks.
Thanks

At the moment tech support does not have further details on this configuration. We will post back once we get additional confirmation or updates.

Can someone from tech support at least acknowledge whether it's something that is being worked on for the future?

Please understand that this information is what determines how our businesses proceed with purchases of hardware going forward. I'd hate to think the lack of forth-coming information forces me to 'jump ship' to another supplier only to find Matrox does intend to support FCP 7 in an upcoming release.

A simple Yes or No would put a lot of users at ease.

Thanks in advance,
Michael

Hi - I've updated to the latest Matrox Mini software 3.3.0067 (the most recent one that does FCP7) and I'm very keen for a Mavericks version as well.

At the moment I'm parked on Mountain Lion since my main editing software is FCP7.

Has anyone tried to install the version 2.6.1 of the MXO2 driver on Mavericks?
Could it work with Mavericks and FCP7?

A release driver is being worked on folks. We know there is still demand for the older FCP with Apple's latest operating system.

In support we too are waiting.

No time frame has been issued as of this time.

Regards

Vic

Sorry to go on, but it's another 8 months since the last post, saying a release driver is being worked on. I have tried the special beta driver, but it was unworkably slow.

Would like to be able to buy new mac (which can only run Mavericks or later) but keep FCP7. Are we all waiting in vain...?

Cheers, Andrew

Hi Andrew,

At the moment, there are no further updates to the special beta driver for FCP 7.

Please note take for Yosemite OS X, there is no longer support for QuickTime based applications such as FCP 7. See this link: http://forum.matrox.com/mxo/viewtopic.php?t=13878
