Matrox_MAX_Utilities_version_4.0 crashes Skype on my Mac

I have just done a driver update for my MXO2 LE MAX and installed Matrox_MAX_Utilities_version_4.0 but it makes the current version of Skype crash on my OS X 10.8.4 MacPro.

If I uninstall Matrox_MAX_Utilities_version_4.0 than Skype loads properly once more.

If I re-install Matrox_MAX_Utilities_version_4.0 then Skype crashes again.

There was no conflict previously on any of the previous versions of Matrox_MAX_Utilities.

Can you help please?

Can you provide the full Skype version number please?

Also, what happens when Skype crashes? Is there a crash log file that is created?

Hi,

Sorry to say I didn't copy the crash log when Skype failed to open yesterday, the OSX error box displayed with the two options to try again and don't reset windows (or something similar) and OK (close the error box).

However I loaded Matrox_MAX_Utilities_version_4.0 again today and Skype indicated it has just updated to Version 6.6.0.467 (from whatever the previous version was) and all is working now.
