I am getting a "HDMI out of Range 15.7kHz/60Hz" message on my monitor.
It is a LG Flatron E2241.
Behind it, I can see the image fine.
What gives?
thanks

Hi r cooper,
Can you provide us with your system specs? OSX? NLE version?
Can you confirm your MXO2 software version?
Are you using Avid to output signal via MXO2?
What is your output resolution format and frame rate? Have you tried outputting any other resolution such as 720p?
Do you have another model of HDMI monitor to test out? It seems your monitor may not support the resolution being outputted.
Have you tried reinstalling the Matrox software?
Please let us know your results. _________________ Regards,

MAC 10.6.8
Avid MC 5.5.3
Matrox firmware 12.1
Matrox software 2.2.3.0043
The message, however, is visible before even launching Media Composer.
Output is coming from the Matrox card in the MAC directly to Matrox mini, then from there to the monitor via HDMI.
I have not tried reinstalling Matrox software.
thanks

Hi Roger,
If you decide to uninstall Matrox software, you can upgrade MXO2 Mini 2.5.0.0034 software version which works fine with Avid MC 5.5 and Snow Leopard 10.6.8.
Have you tried also toggling between RGB and YUV settings in Video Output pane of MXO2 Preferences?
As mentioned in previous posting, what is your output resolution format and frame rate? Have you tried outputting any other resolution such as 720p or 1080i?
Do you have another model of HDMI monitor to test out? It seems your monitor may not support the resolution being outputted. _________________ Regards,
