Dear Matrox Supports,

I updated to new Mac Software 4.2(build 6) with MXO2 Max.
I need to capture large amount of Digital Betacam to QT ProRes 422 format .
So use Matrox Vetura Capture though SDI.

After some file test. All file got 16 audio channel!

My source tape only 2 audio channel need to use!

Any way can change to capture 2 channel only pls.

Thanks!! ^^

Regards
Billy

Hi Billy,

Please note Matrox Vetura Capture always captures 16 audio tracks. You can only delete unwanted empty audio tracks after capture is done.

Hope this helps

Hi,

I don't have editing software.
My work just capture to ProRes file!
Any other easy way to remove the other 14 channel?

Thanks

Billy!

Hi Billy,

The only way of removing the unwanted audio tracks is bringing file to either Adobe Premier Pro or Apple FCP. However, the previous version of Vetura Capture application, available in drivers 2.6.1 and 2.5.0 gives you option of selecting number of audio tracks for capture.

Note: Driver version 2.6.1.0001 is compatible with OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.5 and Lion 10.7.5 and driver version 2.5.0.0034 is compatible with OS X Lion 10.7.5 and Snow Leopard 10.6.8.

If you running OS X Mavericks 10.9.5 let me know I can send you a beta 2.6.2 driver compatible with Mavericks that has Vetura Capture application.

To download drivers go to: http://www.matrox.com/video/en/support/downloads/

Hope this helps.

Hi Tech Support,

Would you pl.s send me the beta 2.6.2 driver!

I use the 2.61 driver on beginning.
Unlucky, I update the Mac OS to 10.9.5.
Than something happen!
The clip's video and audio un-sync after after 12 min.
So I move to driver 4.2
