Hello,
I run a Matrox MXO2 Mini via ExpressCard from my desktop OSX with Premiere CC 2014. Currently I'm finding that when I use the Matrox MXO2 Mini in Premiere CC it's unbearably slow. When the Matrox MXO2 Mini is not connected everything runs much faster. Will I see any improvement in performance if I switch to the Thunderbolt adapter? |

Hi,
Can you confirm your Adobe Premiere CC 2014 update version and MXO2 software driver?
What are your system specs? OS version, system model?
The thunderbolt adaptor will not necessarily make Premiere run faster. The PCIe card, expresscard or thunderbolt adaptors are for connectivity purposes between the MXO2 Mini and system, not with Premiere.
What type of project or file formats are you working with?
Any effects or plugins installed?
What are your Adobe Preferences for Audio and Media Playback devices?
What is the System Sound default device for Input and Output?
Do you have any 3rd-party hardware or software installed on same system?
Please let us know your results. _________________ Regards,
Sam
