I'm trying to get a clear answer about using the Mojito MAX for encoding h264 within flash media live encoder? One supplier says that it will just treat it as an SDI capture card and give no acceleration to encoding through Flash Media Live encoder, but for HD streaming this is absolutely crucial.
Could someone give me a definitive answer? |

Thanks, for the update. It would be useful to have the distinction between h264 encoding support (accelerated) aimed at file based capture and h264 encoding support aimed at streaming (limited to CPU based encoding) made clearer on the website. As these are very different requirements and the product information is ambiguous. |

Hi JD,
I think there is now the ability to save an isolated recording file of the content that is being streamed. I haven't used this yet and so I don't know if the h264 compression format is an option for it.
Just in case this may be of some help.

One more reason to use a PC. "Come to the dark side, I say. Resistance is futile."
