I use video over HDMI but audio straight out of hte mxo2 mini box into some monitors. They're never in sync - i think because the hdmi gets processed more. Anyone found an easy solution for syncing?

Hi,

Can you confirm what MXO2 and Adobe version you are using?

How are you monitoring the audio out of the MXO2? HDMI, RCA?

Are you viewing the external monitor or Adobe program window when viewing for sync?

Please confirm your workflow so we can get a better understanding.

I am having the same issue. I am monitoring vision via HDMI and audio via XLR output 1&2. The audio is slightly (about 3-4 frames out of sync).

Have you tried monitoring audio through HDMI along with video? The 3-4 frame off sync is normal in Premiere from desktop to output monitor, especially when monitoring video from digital signal and audio via analog.

Does your HDMI monitor have audio outputs? Monitor audio from there.

While matrox doesn't support any type of offset, Premiere Pro itself does. Tweaked it in the preferences there and has been working great.
