I use an MXO2 rack unit with Prem Pro CS6 (and soon CC) on a Mac Pro. I work with a lot of archival material and have the need to capture from a variety of tape formats. The MXO2 always captures 16 channels of audio altho I only need channels 1 and 2, at most. When I have a lot of material I waste a lot of time deleting 14 channels of audio from every clip. I would like a setting that determines how many audio channels are captured. |

This is probably able to be done already in the capture config settings.
My initial question in return would be this: Which is cheaper ... the storage space or the cost of your time to remove the extra audio tracks?

Update: Just saw your other post. I guess it does need to be a feature request.
