We currently do not have MXO driver comparable with OS X Mountain Lion 10.8. Tech support does not have information if or when this driver support will be released.
As soon as we receive any further updates, we will inform our users. _________________ Best regards,

So I have a tricky situation. My 2008 MBP running 10.6.8 has just died and I've been using an MX02 mini with Wirecast. I'm being advised by the Genius Bar that it's not worth spending the ?400 to replace the motherboard, so I'd be looking at a new 15" (non Retina) MBP for around ?1700. Forgetting the whole Thunderbolt/Express Slot problem (which I believe is surmountable as I believe that there's a Thunderbolt lead for it?) I guess that it will all grind to a halt with the Mountain Lion operating system and lack of Matrox drivers.
I'm reluctant to spend that money on the old one now.
How is it that there doesn't seem to be a plan to catch up the real Mac world? ..or have I got it wrong?

Apologies. Think you now have the drivers out there. I'd seen older posts.

..So my next question is, will the MX02 Mini work into a Thunderbolt port with the Sonnet ECHO-E34 Echo Thunderbolt Port-Equipped Adapter for ExpressCard/34 Cards. The reason I ask this is that I also have an RME Madiface Express audio card that allows me to take up to 64 tracks of Madi Audio into multitrack software, and that doesn't have a Thunderbolt option, and I gather does work, so I need one of those anyway. |

Hi Rob,
We do have drivers comparable with OS X Mountain Lion 10.8 for MXO2 products. For more detailed information link below.

The MXO2 Mini should work with Sonnet ECHO-E34 Echo Thunderbolt Port, we have done some test in house. However, I'm not familiar with RME Madiface Express audio card so I cannot comment on that. _________________ Best regards,

Thanks Vlad, that's good news. I have also just heard back from a friend that he has the RME Madiface working with the Sonnet too, so all I have to do now is pick which MBP to buy. Oh, and then pay for it!
Cheers, Rob. |

Come to the 'dark side' and use a PC.
