MXO2 LE not working in MC 6 after downloading latest drivers

I am running Media Composer 6 on an 8 core Mac Pro with Lion 10.7.2. I downloaded the Matrox Utilities version 3.0, installed the MXO2 LE card and connected cables to my PVW 2800, restarted, installed the Matrox Utilities from the .dmg, shut down and then restarted. I have been using a Kona 3G to monitor (both FCP and PPro), but need to bring in Beta SP material into MC.

I can't find the preferences for switching from the Kona to the MXO2 in MC 6.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Bill,

Do you have the Kona card also installed with the MXO2?
In System Preferences, do you have an Matrox Utilities green icon listed in Other section?
You should only have the MXO2 installed with the 3.0 drivers and automatically be able to capture and output using Avid MC6 using the supported resolutions with Matrox.

Thanks for the link. Looks like it has the info I need. BTW Yes, I do have the Kona 3G installed, I do have the green Matrox icon, and I did use the 3.0 drivers.

If running with the MXO2 hardware, you should remove other 3rd-party hardware to avoid conflict between the drivers.

So I can't use the KONA on the same platform as the MX02?

We have not officially tested and certified this type of configuration using the MXO2.
If you encounter any problems, try disabling the KONA card and see if this resolves the problem.
