(Problem) MXO2 Mini with Avid MC 5.5.3 Lion 10.7.2

Good Morning Sam!!!!

Here to write: (Subsequent testing has demonstrated that the MXO2 2.3.3 release does seem to work with the Lion 10.7.2 update.) (http://forum.matrox.com/mxo/viewtopic.php?t=6805)

1) Don 't compatible with the Mojo dx and must turn off the Mojo to see the Avid the matrox ..

2) I Close the mojo and while everything works correctly and sees the avid matrox not see from the capture tools and do not let me put shots from an external source (Camera or video DV) No with controller with had.

I bought a matrox to pass through devices from SD footage a Mojo is only HD...

My specs:

Mac Pro - Two 2.93GHz 6-Core Intel Xeon- ATI Radeon HD 5770 1GB - Mem 16Gb

Mac OSX 10.7.2

Fault of 100% in 10.7.2???

Hi,

For issue #1- Yes, this is not supported. You must disable the Mojo hardware when working with Matrox hardware. You cannot have both working at the same time.

For issue #2 - The MXO2 Mini does not support capturing with Avid MC5.5.3. The MXO2 Mini supports output monitoring through Avid MC5. We are looking into supporting capture through the MXO2 Mini in a future driver release.

Hi Spyros,

On the Mac with MXO2 Mini, you can capture via the Matrox Vetura Capture. If you are working with Avid, you can also capture to a DxNHD codec by selecting the specific codec in Codec Settings of Vetura application. For more information see User Guide on page 116:

Sam thank you for your help got shots and put them in the avid, so for now I will do the job with vetura capture ...

And wait for the MC 6 and yours upgrade for best results!
