Before I sell this nice MX02LEmax box, is there any hint of future Avid Media Composer compatibility? Hate to part with it, so... |

We in tech support do not have any information on this popular request. Any announcements regarding this and other features would have to be made by the appropriate channels. _________________ Regards,

Yes, there are rumors it'll be supported in Avid MC 6. For a brief period of time, Avid accidentally had information about MC6 on their site over the weekend (it's since been removed). On that page, Avid stated that their new initiative will allow any manufacturer to write a link for their hardware to work with Avid going forward. It's therefore up to the manufacturers to make it happen, but why wouldn't they? Especially since Matrox already has a relationship with Avid.
Unless it's been taken down, you can see this info youself on the COW. Somebody posted a screen grab of it. |

Hi. It is interesting to speculate on future support features but unfortunately we have to reserve the forum for actual tech support questions on currently supported software and hardware. I would rather not speculate on what will happen in the future. I have nothing to add here so will lock this thread. Please feel free to start a new thread if you have a technical question on currently supported Avid software and features. _________________ Regards,
