No output for 1080p 25 project from Avid 5.5.2

Working fine in Avid 23.98 1080p but no signal from a 1080p 25 fps project. Any help here?

Running 2.2.1 driver on a mac pro (10.6.5) Avid 5.5.2

Hi,

Can you specify what type of monitor you are running?
Are you outputting through HDMI source?

Can you try selecting 1080PsF@25 fps or 1080i@25? Does this work?

I'm running a 46" panasonic G series plasma via HDMI.

I've tried the component analog out as well and have the same issue.

Are you talking about selecting in the Avid format settings or on the Matrox settings? There is no PsF setting. Only 1080i 25, which produces the same result.

My project is 1080p, 25, which is supported according to the Avid/Matrox literature.

We tested the issue here and have not been able to reproduce the problem with Avid MC5.5.1 and MXO2 Mini 2.2.3 drivers.

To confirm, you have created an Avid 1080p25 project? In your project under the Program window, is your output setting set to MXO2 and not 1394?

In System Preferences > MXO2 Mini, what is your Set main channel format to? Have you tried Follow application and 1080?

Please note we support Avid Media Composer v5.5.1 and Avid NewsCutter v9.5.1.

If you still encounter issues, try installing the latest MXO2 Mini 2.2.3 drivers and see if this makes a difference.

It could be that your Panasonic monitor doesn't support 1080/25P.
I know mine doesn't - it only support 1080/24P, much like the Blu-ray spec.
