Greetings!

What realtime effects and transitions I will receive with MXO2LE in work with CS5 and what graphic adapter needs to be used (system PC).

As to me to work with a video equipment with IEEE1394. It is necessary for this purpose such as Kramer FC-20 (SDI-DV, DV-SDI).

Thanks for the answer.

If you build a 64-bit PC meeting Adobe CS5 requirements, then any effects that are real time with CS5 will also work in the Matrox environment. You must use an appropriate nVidia display card to get real time performance from Adobe, such as the GTX 470 or Quadro 4000 card.

Matrox also offers some effects plugins - Matrox Color Correction (Primary & Secondary), Matrox Luma Key and Chroma Key, and Matrox Wipes. Adobe Motion, Adobe dissolves, and some other effects are accelerated by Matrox as well. These should work in real time, no render.

If you wish to capture 1394, then just connect to the 1394 input on the PC and capture using an Adobe preset. The captured files can then be edited and output using the Matrox hardware (with appropriate Matrox Sequence preset). You do not need any external converters.

For instance, capture DVCAM footage using 1394 input of the PC, with an Adobe DV preset, then open a new sequence with Matrox preset for editing, and the captured files can be monitored/output through the MXO2 LE hardware via analog, HDMI or SDI.
