Pardon for repeat post. I had put this on wrong forum (MXO).
I want to know if is possible to monitoring to external monitor with MXO2 the Premiere CS5 native editing modes (XDcam EX, DvcproHD, etc) and no native (Cineform) without matrox presets.
Thanks.

Hi Manuel,

The Matrox hardware is only active when in a Matrox preset in Premiere.

If editing XDCAM EX for instance, just choose a Matrox HD preset to match the frame size and rate of your clips, and any format of clip supported by Premiere and matching those settings can be used in the Matrox project. So rather than choose an Adobe HDV, XDCAM, AVCHD, etc. preset, choose a Matrox preset to match the footage.

The MX02 is a good paper weight right now if you are waiting for CS5 drivers to be released. For all the advertising and blurb on the website about CS5 Matrox should really have been ahead of the curve on a driver release.

Apologies for any inconvenience this delay may have caused. Please note that these drivers are now released and available for download from our website for free.

Best regards,
B.C.
