Hello, two questions, regarding the Mini Max:

1.) are the desktop and laptop versions identical except for the different I/O cards that ship with them?

2.) Is the Max H264 encoding capability independent of the encoding software being used and can it take full advantage of the option available in e.g. Telestream Episode?

Thanks in advance,
Best
Yann

Oh and another question:

3.) Are there performance differences between the Mini Max and the Compress HD?

Cheers

And another question Cool :

4.) I already have a Matrox Mini 2 Desktop without the Max option for monitoring Apple Color Output . If I bought the CompressHD, would the two cards work together in a MacPro 1st generation or would that cause conflicts?

Thanks,
Yann

you can install the CompressHD card in the same system as the MXO2 provided that your system satisfy these requirements.

Best regards,
