What signal do I get from the Matrox (of a 24p-project), what should the monitor be capable of handling. Is there probably a list of monitors that have been tested with the Matrox? Hello Mirja and thank you for your interest in Matrox products. the Matrox version you will need for your setup will be Mac OS driver 2.5 for the Matrox MXO2 mini from our downloads page:
http://www.matrox.com/video/en/support/downloads/
This Driver will support Mac OS X 10.7.3 and Avid Media Composer 5.5.3
In regards to a monitor with strait HDMI output we recommend you use a monitor that does not scale or process the picture for a true image. You can use any 1080p monitor for this but we would prefer you follow our system requirements here:
http://www.matrox.com/video/en/support/mac/mxo2/system/monitors/
Many people have discussed this at great lengths here is one of the latest forum posts:

Jeff is one of our Authorised dealers from Safe Harbor computers.
regards,
JD
