Hello! I am looking for a monitoring solution for our editing suite.
We are working with Avid Media Composer 5.5, currently on a 1080/24p project (DNxHD36-codec).

The platform is a Mac Pro Intel quadcore (haven't got the exact specs right now) with OSX Lion.

From what I've read so far I would need to find an appropriate set-up (OS-Version, MC-Version, Matrox-driver) to get this all going in the first place.

So my next question is: what do I have to consider buying a monitor. Does the 24p pose a problem?

We are thinking about a HDMI-solution.

What signal do I get from the Matrox (of a 24p-project), what should the monitor be capable of handling.
Is there probably a list of monitors that have been tested with the Matrox?

Thank you!

Hello Mirja and thank you for your interest in Matrox products. You are asking questions about a different Matrox product. I have created a forum post in the Matrox MXO2 Mini presales forum here: http://forum.matrox.com/mxo/viewtopic.php?p=31147#31147
